The breath is a tool that can create enhanced energy, detoxify the system, and balance our physiology, and thus our mental state. When used intelligently within our asana practice, both the effect of the breath, and the asanas are increased. But how aware are you of your breath during your asana practice-and how much importance do you give to the quality of your breath? Which movements or postures are improved with which breath?
